Lake Champlain -
"Unquestionably one of the country's most beautiful lakes"

Lake Champlain, the sixth largest freshwater lake in the continental United States.., links the NYS Canal System to Canada. The 585-mile shoreline offers marinas, fishing, lakeside dining, cruises, ferry rides, fabulous scenery, and unspoiled Adirondack- style accommodations, as well as luxury resorts.

Champlain's shores stretch from the Canadian border approximately 110 miles south and reach from New York's Western Shore 12 miles across to the state of Vermont, with a maximum depth of approximately 400 feet. Cradled between Vermont's Green Mountains and New York's Adirondacks, spectacular scenery surrounds the lake. It is unquestionably one of the country's most beautiful lakes.

Lake Champlain area travel and tourism professionals can help you plan the trip of a life time.
