In the fall, the Salmon, Little Salmon and Oswego Rivers are all popular spots to catch salmon traveling up river to spawn. Feisty steelhead can also be found in these waters in the spring and fall, as well as during winter thaws.

For exciting walleye fishing, don't look any further than Oneida Lake's north shore in Oswego County. With more fish per acre than any other lake in the northeast, "The Walleye Lake of New York State," provides anglers with stringers full of walleye, bass, perch and crappie, on top of the over 50 additional species of fish.

So, whether you are looking to pull pike through the ice in winter, fight bullhead by lantern light in spring, or reel in panfish from shore, Oswego County has the perfect spots for you.
